If you’re one of those people who think that listening to Christmas music before Thanksgiving should be illegal, you might want to skip this post. I, on the other hand, can listen to Christmas music even in the middle of summer (haha, although that has happened only once or twice).

But right now, a week before Thanksgiving, I am sitting in front of our fireplace, laptop in my lap and hot chocolate in my arm’s reach, listening to Mary Did You Know ….. what a perfect ending to a perfect day!

Finally, here’s the list of my favorite Christmas Albums:

GLORY IN THE HIGHEST: Christmas Songs of Worship by Chris Tomlin –  This one is my most favorite thus far. Brings an intimate, joyful, cozy worship atmosphere straight to your house.

PEACE ON EARTH by Casting Crowns – I first heard about this band while watching the movie Facing the Giants (I fell in love with the song Voice of Truth). This album is simply awesome. Just sit back and rejoice in the LORD.
THE CHRISTMAS COLLECTION by Amy Grant – In my opinion, this is by far the best Christmas album she has done. Her voice always brings my childhood memories to life!
DUCK THE HALLS: A Robertson Family Christmas – I have never seen the show Duck Dynasty. I first heard of them on the internet because of some controversy around this family. I really appreciate people who are not afraid to share their faith. We need more families like this! If I could describe this album in one word, it would be: “FUN”! Those “duck people” can really sing!

“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”
