Good morning, friends! Do you still remember me? I know I have been off the grid for a while, but I’m back and ready to share my November Favorites with you lovely ladies (and gents, if there are any). Let’s jump right into it!!!
Favorite Bible Verse
Let’s start with a non-material favorite item. For the longest time, I have been searching for a new life verse. I’ve asked God to put a verse or even a portion of the Bible on my heart and He did!
This verse definitely shapes all my daily tasks and activities. How often do we do certain things just because it is a part of our routine or something on our checklist? Well, guess what! If we do the right things for the wring reasons, is it really pleasing the Lord? Also, is pleasing Him even on your list of priorities? Do you go to church just because it’s something you have done ever since you were little? Do you pray before food because it is a habit? Do you witness to people because you want to look like a good Christian? Whom are you trying to please?
I know…. it is after Thanksgiving and everyone is already in Christmas mode. However, I will hold onto Autumn for just a little bit longer. In my mind, autumn = pumpkin everything. Pumpkin Spice Latte, pumpkin creamer, pumpkin soup, pumpkin decorations, and pumpkin desserts!!!! Browsing Pinterest, I found some recipes I’d like to share with you. Just check out my Baking board!
I don’t usually buy dresses on Amazon, but thanks to Tomoson, I had the opportunity to get the Women’s Pineapple Print Slip Dress at a discounted price. Before I placed my order, I went ahead and read the reviews on it. Most reviewers noted that the sizes run small, so I decided to order a size up from what I usually wear. When my order arrived, I was very surprised! Firs, let’s talk about this FABRIC. I can not enthuse ENOUGH about this fabric. I love it. Oh so much. It is soft, it is light. It is smooth and silky. It is airy and comfortable while still allowing the joy of BEING COVERED. This is not see through. It feels like it should be, but I assure it is not! The fabric is perfect for spring, summer or fall! That said, the tag does say Hand Wash, Dry Flat. I’ve had fabrics like these in scarves and they were fine in the washer, but had to be hung to dry (or they got all crinkly and gross but were fixed by a rewash and proper flat dry). I’ve not washed this yet (I literally just got it yesterday), so once I do I’ll be sure to update this review!
Because I’m quite tall, I do have to wear a pencil skirt underneath for modesty reasons, but overall …. I love it! You can check it out for yourself at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073PPK8XY !!!
That’s it for my November Favorites. I promise December edition will bring more of my favorites. In the meantime, I would love to hear from you! What were your favorites last month? What did you do for Thanksgiving? Is there anything I can pray for you about? Hope you have a great weekend!!
